Patagonia Timber is a company based in the city of Punta Arenas, Chile, dedicated to the commercialization of Lenga KD lumber (Nothofagus Pumilio). In its beginnings in 2016, Patagonia Timber developed activities for the sustainable exploitation of different forest properties in the Magallanes region in Southern Chile, from where it obtained its raw material and also operated a modern plant with a sawmill and drying chambers, positioning itself as one of the main suppliers of the species in the market.
Currently, the company is dedicated to the exclusive marketing and distribution within Chile of the forest products of Lenga Patagonia SA, a company with more than 50,000 hectares of forests in Argentine Tierra del Fuego.
The Lenga is a native product of Patagonia, and as such, it was a mainstay in the economic development of this region, where there is extensive knowledge of the species.

Lenga
The Lenga (Nothofagus Pumilio) is an endemic species of South America, which is part of the Andean Patagonian forests of Southern Argentina and Chile.
It is also known in export markets as Patagonian Cherry or Fireland Cherry.
The main uses of Lenga wood are the manufacture of furniture, edge-glued panels, doors, frames, solid floors and moldings.
The color of the wood varies between shades ranging from pink in the heartwood, to yellow or white in the sapwood. Furniture manufacturers especially appreciate this wood for its elegance, quality and easy processing.
Our main product is Kiln-dried, planed and classified Lenga lumber. The lumber is dried until reaching an optimum moisture content for industrial use.
Our lumber is classified into different qualities following a protocol based on the NHLA (National Hardwood Lumber Association) standards of the United States.
